About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Forward Deployed (Value Acceleration) Consultant - Life Sciences AI sits at the intersection of customer engagement and AI-native platform delivery. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated business process solutions ("Blueprints") using Agentforce and Life Sciences Cloud (LSC) platform capabilities - while owning the roadmap and feature lifecycle for scalable, reusable accelerators that drive measurable value for Life Sciences customers.
You will partner closely with Life Sciences customer-facing teams, engineering, GDC delivery resources, and design to transform manual, fragmented workflows in Pharma, Biotech, and MedTech into automated, AI-native solutions. You are customer-obsessed, execution-focused, and driven by the challenge of building solutions at the speed and quality that regulated industries demand.
Responsibilities
Roadmap and Solution Ownership
Own the roadmap for Life Sciences process blueprints and AI-native accelerators, balancing strategic direction with near-term execution needs across the LSC portfolio
Own the feature lifecycle for LS-specific blueprint components from discovery through launch and iteration
Identify operational inefficiencies, manual processes, and automation opportunities across Life Sciences customer workflows - including HCP/HCO engagement, field force, clinical operations, and revenue cycle
Blueprint Design and Execution
Partner with Life Sciences customer-facing leaders to map and analyze customer requirements for new AI-native solutions
Build solution blueprints and workflow automations using current Agentforce and LSC platform capabilities
Work directly with AI agents and prompting tools to design automated, enterprise-grade solutions appropriate for regulated Life Sciences environments
Validate, test, and iterate blueprints for accuracy, consistency, and performance against LS customer acceptance criteria
Technical Specification and Delivery
Translate high-level strategic goals and Life Sciences customer requirements into clear PRDs, user stories, and technical acceptance criteria
Manage the product backlog, prioritize sprints, and drive consistent delivery using Agile methodologies
Document solution architecture, demonstrations, and implementation guidelines - including Steel Thread validation in support of go-live readiness across Hub accounts
Customer and Market Research
Conduct user interviews and quantitative analysis to understand Life Sciences customer pain points and identify accelerator opportunities
Act as the voice of the LS customer within the Agentforce development process, feeding structured insights to Product Engineering and the Hub's product feedback loop
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering and Design to ensure technical feasibility and intuitive user experiences for Life Sciences personas
Provide structured feedback to Product Managers on feature gaps needed to support LS-specific scalability and compliance requirements
Support rollout and enablement of blueprint solutions across Hub teams, GDC delivery resources, and SI partners (Deloitte, Slalom, and others)
Collaborate across the Ecosystems pillar on partner readiness and SI blueprint adoption
Required Qualifications
3 to 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Process Automation, Business Analysis, or Solutions Consulting
Experience building or deploying external-facing products in enterprise B2B SaaS environments
Strong understanding of business workflow mapping, process modeling, and process improvement methodologies, with demonstrated application in Life Sciences or a regulated industry
Proven experience translating business requirements into structured automated workflows or solutions
Hands-on technical experience with automation tools, workflow builders, AI prompting, or low/no-code platforms
Excellent spoken and written communication with ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical Life Sciences stakeholders
Proven ability to collaborate with virtual and global cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and customer success
Rigor and consistency in managing product backlogs and executing delivery
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Life Sciences commercial operations, HCP/HCO engagement, field force automation, or clinical operations technology
Experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud (LSC), Agentforce, or comparable CRM/AI platforms in regulated industries
Experience with prompt design or agent-based automation solutions
Familiarity with the Salesforce platform ecosystem (APIs, platform services, Data Cloud)
Understanding of Life Sciences regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, GDPR) as they relate to CRM and workflow automation
Experience with network effects and cold start strategies for enterprise B2B solutions
Lean, Six Sigma, or related process improvement certification
Pharma, Biotech, or MedTech industry background strongly preferred
Success Metrics
Efficiency improvements and measurable reduction in manual work for Life Sciences customers
Blueprint adoption, usage outcomes, and business value delivered (e.g., cost savings, field force productivity, HCP engagement improvement)
Quality and clarity of roadmap feedback influencing LSC and Agentforce platform improvements
Time-to-value and scalability of LS-specific solution deployments
* Customer satisfaction and depth of engagement with deployed solutions across the LSC portfolio

The job is in Atlanta, GA. Below is what the official statistics say about living and working there.
How Atlanta compares. Among the 100 largest places in Georgia, Atlanta is #1 by population, #10 for remote work (#1 = most), #15 for college degrees (#1 = most), #73 for homeownership (#1 = highest). Its county, Fulton County, is #1 of 159 counties for average pay ($100,817).
Atlanta has 505,268 residents (ACS 2020–2024), about 4.6% of the population of Georgia. It covers 135 square miles of land, which works out to roughly 3,734 people per square mile. The median age is 34.2, 9% younger than the state median (34.2 against 37.6).
The median gross rent is $1,711 a month (rent plus utilities), 23% above the state median ($1,711 against $1,393). Over a year that is 24.0% of the median household income. US housing guidance treats housing as affordable when it takes 30% of income or less, so the typical household is under that line. The median home value is $439,600, which is 5.1 times the median household income ($85,652); a ratio above 5 usually means buying is out of reach without savings or a second income. 46.4% of households own their home, 29% below the state average (46.4% against 65.7%). A low ownership share points to a rental-heavy market with more apartments and shorter stays.
The Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell, GA metropolitan area has 2,889,670 jobs in the BLS wage survey, and the median pay across all occupations is $51,170 a year, about the same as the national median ($51,170 against $50,980). The biggest occupation groups are office and administrative support (328,500 jobs, median $47,040); transportation and material moving (313,910 jobs, median $44,120); sales and related (277,630 jobs, median $37,550). The area is most specialised in business and financial operations (1.3 times) and legal (1.3 times), where the share of workers is above the national share. The best-paying groups with at least 5,000 jobs are management ($130,550) and computer and mathematical ($110,010). In 2026M09 the unemployment rate of Fulton County was 3.6%. 68.7% of residents aged 16 and over are in the labour force. The city lies in Fulton County; its jobs, pay by industry and GDP are on the county page.
Among workers, 52.9% drive alone, 5.7% use public transit, 3.9% walk, 29.7% work from home. 14.2% of workers commute 45 minutes or more, 28% below the state average (14.2% against 19.8%). Remote work is more common than in the state as a whole, which widens the set of employers a resident can work for without moving.
59.2% of adults aged 25 and over hold a bachelor's degree or higher, 69% above the state share (59.2% against 35.0%). 9.0% of residents were born outside the United States, 19% below the state share (9.0% against 11.2%). The poverty rate is 16.9%, 27% above the state rate (16.9% against 13.4%).
The warmest month is Jul, averaging 80°F (26.5°C), and the coolest is Jan at 40°F (4.7°C). About 1,292 mm (51 inches) of precipitation falls in a year; Dec is the wettest month (133 mm) and Oct the driest (88 mm). These values come from NASA satellite-based climatology on a grid of about 50 km, so they describe the wider area, not a weather station in the city.
Closest cities in this guide: North Druid Hills (7 miles, rent 10% higher); East Point (7 miles, rent 20% lower); Vinings (7 miles, rent 7% higher); Decatur (7 miles, rent 3% lower). Rent differences are against Atlanta; use the Compare tab to put any two cities side by side.
