About the team
The FinOps team partners with Engineering, Finance, Data & Analytics, and Product teams to strengthen cloud financial governance across UKG. The team is building the data foundation for UKG's FinOps 2.0 strategy and AskFinOps artificial intelligence platform.
About the role
As a Senior Staff Data Engineer, FinOps Platform & Reporting, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of UKG's Unified FinOps Platform. You will architect and build scalable, cloud-native data products that transform cloud cost, billing, usage, telemetry, and operational data into trusted financial insights, forecasting models, and actionable optimization opportunities.
This role will enable accurate cloud financial governance across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) through automated reporting, allocation, forecasting, and unit economics capabilities. You will partner closely with FinOps, Engineering, Finance, Data & Analytics, and Product teams to build the data foundation that supports UKG's FinOps 2.0 strategy and AskFinOps AI platform.
