LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Tucson, AZ at698 East Wetmore Road, Suite 310, Tucson, AZ 85718.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and rotating Saturdays, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• 1 year or more experience drawing on pediatrics

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
