Als Senior Postgres Ontwerper werk je complexe architecturen en kaders uit voor PostgreSQL-omgevingen. Je vertaalt functionele eisen naar functionele en technische ontwerpen, legt ze vast en vertaalt uitvoeringsbepalingen naar concrete maatregelen.

Je komt in dienst bij Kyndryl en werkt voor een opdrachtgever in de defensie- en veiligheidssector die zijn IT-infrastructuur volledig vernieuwt. Later kun je ook voor andere klanten van Kyndryl aan de slag.

Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van complexe opdrachten en het laatste aanspreekpunt bij derdelijnsvraagstukken. Je bewaakt de samenhang tussen de ICT-bouwstenen en coacht andere ontwerpers in jouw vakgebied.

Succes in deze rol betekent dat ontwerpen volledig en veilig zijn, dat risico's vroeg zichtbaar worden en dat wijzigingen gecontroleerd in gebruik gaan.

Wat ga je doen

Ontwerp PostgreSQL-oplossingen

• Vertaal functionele eisen naar functionele en technische ontwerpen
• Werk architecturen en kaders uit en stel de documentatie op

• Verifieer impactanalyses, voer risicoanalyses uit en toets ontwerpen aan de veiligheidsnormen
• Adviseer de technisch verantwoordelijke en bereid implementaties voor

• Ontwikkel componenten, pas ze aan en voer de testscenario's uit die je zelf opstelt
• Analyseer verstoringen, adviseer over modificaties en voer geautomatiseerde wijzigingen in ICT-bouwstenen door

• Optimaliseer bestaande componenten en geef richtlijnen en advies
• Begeleid en coach andere ontwerpers in jouw vakgebied

• Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring.
• Aantoonbare ervaring met het ontwerpen van PostgreSQL-databases.
• Ervaring met implementatie en beheer van Microsoft Windows Server 2016.
• Vloeiend Nederlands, de Nederlandse nationaliteit en een Nederlands paspoort, en bereidheid tot een screening door de MIVD (VGB). Kyndryl begeleidt je daarbij.

• Ervaring met automatisering, met name Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Beheer van private cloud, met name migratie van on-premises naar cloud.
• Kennis van kwetsbaarheidsbeheer.
• AD FS on-premises met Microsoft Active Directory en/of Microsoft Entra ID (voorheen Azure AD).
